Male Menopause

The term climacteric virile describes the periods in a man’s life during which his testosterone level drops considerably. This phase, which is a natural part of aging, can often produce socio-psychological stress and decreases sexual activity.

The hypogonadism of the aging man (“climacteric virile”) is caused by the declining testicle function. This process is characterized by reduced testosterone levels and problems caused by testosterone deficiency.

The disruptions include:

  • Reduction and even loss of libido
  • Reduction of vitality combined with declining psychological and physical performance capacity
  • Erectile dysfunction including erection problems and reduced potency
  • Reduction of muscle mass and/or muscle decline
  • Reduction of bone density
  • Palpitation
  • Anemia
  • Depression

These conditions can have a serious impact on the quality of life. A hormone replacement therapy with nature-identical hormones can reduce the symptoms or even eliminate them entirely. Hormones are also essential for the healthy performance of the brain (memory and concentration). They keep us young and fresh!

An unexpectedly high number of symptoms can be eliminated with a suitable mix of hormone replacement therapies.

Instead of treating individual symptoms with individual measures, we provide a different approach. With the use of one or more chemically determined hormone deficiency measures, we are usually able to completely eliminate many longstanding symptoms within a short time.

In our practice we only work with nature-identical hormones produced from yam roots or organ dry specimens. Based on your specific problems and needs, we create an individual formula which is then put together by a pharmacy.

Measures taken based on the five pillars of Chinese Medicine such as acupuncture, acupressure(Tuina) and herbaltherapies can additionally strengthen body and mind.
